Object of research - General scheme of planning of the territory of Ukraine. The purpose of the work is to monitor the implementation of the General Scheme for Planning of the Territory of Ukraine in 2019 and 2020 in accordance with the structure of the monitoring indicators approved by the CMU Decree No. 1291 of 29.08.2002. The scientific and practical tasks that allow a comprehensive analysis of socioeconomic and town-planning processes. The result of the study is the preparation of reports on monitoring the implementation of the General Scheme for Planning of the Territory of Ukraine for 2019 and 2020, and the development of materials, taking into account the comments and suggestions for the preparation of the final version of the report of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on the state of implementation of the General Scheme.
