Object of study: functional and structural disorders of the thyroid gland in patients with chronic atrophic gastritis with metaplastic and dysplastic changes in the mucous membrane.
The aim of the study is to improve diagnostic and treatment tactics of patients with precancerous gastric conditions based on a comprehensive study of the interaction of comorbid factors, cytokine balance, the presence of excessive bacterial growth syndrome on structural changes in the gastric mucosa.
Research methods: clinical, instrumental, functional, morphological, immunological, microbiological, statistical.
In 78.7% of the examined pathology of the thyroid gland was detected for the first time, which are manifested as diffuse (31.6%) and nodular (48.7%). The role of nodal changes of the thyroid gland and cytokine profile imbalance as factors that initiate perestroika changes in the gastric mucosa of precancerous orientation has been determined. An algorithm for managing patients with chronic atrophic gastritis in conditions of comorbid pathology of the thyroid gland based on the formation of a risk group for dysplastic changes in the stomach, according to which the tactics of monitoring patients are personified.
