The purpose of research and development is to develop a combined power plant (CEU) for urban vehicles based on internal combustion engines using pneumatic motors and renewable energy sources, which will increase the energy, economic and environmental performance of dual-use vehicles.
Research methods - used general methods of analytical research, theoretical methods of research of working processes of the pneumatic engine, and also methods of conversion of solar energy into electric; methods of mathematical analysis and processing of experimental research.
An analytical review of existing CEUs, analysis of their main differences, advantages and disadvantages, research of pneumatic motor processes and development of a method of heating compressed air at the inlet of the pneumatic motor using renewable energy sources.
