Single nucleotide polymorphisms of the gene glutathione transferase P1 have been identified in dogs with breast tumors and compared to healthy animals. Blood proteins of dogs with breast tumors were studied and compared to healthy animals. Possible markers of canine breast tumors were identified according to polymorphism of gene glutathione transferase P1 and blood proteins. There is a difference in glutathione peroxidase activity in sick and healthy dogs. The pathohistological type was established and the parameters of nuclear morphometry of dogs mammary tumors were determined.
