Dendritic Yanson point contacts, point contact gas sensitive effect, gapless electrode system, and electrochemical cyclic switchover effect were the objects under study during the project first stage. The development of methodological basis for the investigation of quantum point-contact sensitive elements in gaseous and liquid media was considered as the first stage of the research to reach the global goal of the project. As a result, the behavior of the point-contact sensors in the background gaseous and liquid media was studied. Water was used as a background liquid medium and the mixture of gases which simulate the atmospheric air was used of background gas medium
