It was noted that regional metastases in the LV of the neck were significantly more frequent (χ2=16.074; p<0.05) were observed in cancer of the vestibular larynx – 19 versus 8 cases in cancer of the glottis. Conservative treatment, at the first stage, in patients with laryngeal cancer showed a significantly lower number of tumour recurrences with its localization in the vestibular larynx compared with cancer of the glottis (χ2=6.718; p<0.05). It was found that about 80-83 % of tumour recurrences are observed in patients with cancer of the larynx and pharynx after their treatment during the first year. With the surgical treatment of patients with laryngeal cancer, the relapse-free survival rate is significantly higher than with their conservative therapy (χ2=12.460; p<0.05). Also, there was a significantly higher overall survival of patients with cancer of the glottis compared with tumours of the vestibular region – 87% versus 50%, respectively (χ2=3.911; p<0.05). The data of conservative treatment of patients with oropharyngeal cancer were obtained, which showed a complete tumour response in 25 (41%) cases, a partial tumour response in 26 (43%) cases. The objective response to treatment was 84%. The first tap conservative treatment of patients with tonsil cancer expressing human papillomavirus type 16, gives a complete tumour response in 68% of cases (χ2=5.639; p <0.05), and cases without such expression are significant, more often – partial tumour response χ2=7.290; p<0.05). The use at the first stage of the combined treatment of radical surgical interventions in the area of the primary focus and the pathways of regional metastasis makes it possible to obtain an overall three-year survival rate for pharyngeal cancer – 58%. Data were obtained on the possibility of tumour spread beyond the primary focus by hemovascular and perineu Product Description popup.authors Dihtyaruk Viktor Ya. Klochkov Evgenij I.
