Purpose: to scientifically substantiate the values of physiological needs in basic nutrients and energy for people of working age of I-IV labor intensity groups living in radioactively contaminated areas as a result of the Chernobyl accident. Research methods: hygienic, epidemiological, theoretical analysis and generalization of special scientific and methodological literature, statistical. 602 adults of working age population of the I-IV labor intensity group were surveyed, including 348 men and 254 women living in Ivankiv district of Kyiv region and in Korosten district of Zhytomyr region. Hygienic assessment of the nutritional status of the adult working population - men, women of I-IV groups of labor intensity in modern socio-economic conditions. The nutritional status of the examined persons was determined. Priority deficits and surpluses of macro- and micronutrients in the diet of the population have been identified. In order to more effectively use the alimentary factor for the prevention of non-infectious alimentary diseases and prevention of malnutrition or overeating, the algorithm of establishing the physiological needs of essential nutrients and energy of the adult working population - men, women I-IV labor intensity groups, radioactively contaminated territories as a result of the Chernobyl accident.
