Antitumor effect of lectin and combined application of lectin and cisplatin was demonstrated at studies on the model of solid Ehrlich carcinoma (slow of the tumor growth, increase (P <0.05) the life span of animals with tumors). According to functional activity index macrophages of M2 type predominated in the spleen and peritoneal cavity of mice with carcinoma Erlich from 14-day of tumor growth. Administration of lectin from B. subtilis IMV B-7724 to mice with Ehrlich carcinoma led to the prevalence of Mph exhibiting functional properties of M1 type at late-term tumor growth. The combined administration of lectin and cisplatin did not provide a long preservation of the functional activity of macrophages. The obtained data indicate the need for further, more detailed, research on the peculiarities of the effect of bacterial lectin to polarization of macrophages in the dynamics of the tumor process.
