The results of reviewing pedagogical, psychological, philosophical, and sociological literature on the problem under investigation, state documents, current curricula, textbooks and manuals etc. are summarized. The experience of introducing blended learning into primary education; the main determinants of individualization of instruction at career-oriented high school are analyzed and summarized. Modern scientific approaches to study the problem under investigation are systematized. Trends in the transformation of forms, methods and means of individualization of instruction amid blended learning at general secondary education institutions, the main trends in the modernization of educational process amid blended leaning, advantages and disadvantages of distance (blended) learning are highlighted. Methodological recommendations for implementing blended learning in primary schools; author’s questionnaires for conducting analytical and diagnostic cross-sections to study the state of individualization of instruction at general secondary education institutions (for principals of general secondary education institutions, teachers, parents, career-oriented high school students) have been developed. Analytical materials on the organization of distance education in Ukraine have been prepared. Materials for the manuscripts of the planned monographs and resource books have been prepared The didactic potential of individualization of instruction at general secondary education institutions to ensure the quality of education at primary, middle and career-oriented high schools is determined. Materials and empirical data of analytical and diagnostic cross-sections are systematized, generalized and checked using methods of mathematical statistics.
