The aim of the work is to study the pharmacological activity, general toxic properties, age-specific features of the combination of molsidomine with ATP and experimental substantiation of the development of a new drug for use in geriatrics. Models: ischemia-reperfusion (in an isolated heart of rats), chronic mild stress in young and old rats. Methods: physiological, pharmacological, morphological, immunological, biochemical. Main results: It was found that the combination of molsidomine with ATP showed a synergistic vasodilatory effect and clinically significantly enhanced the contractile function of the isolated heart of old rats, preventing its violation in hypoxia and reperfusion. In chronic stress, the drug had a positive effect on the central and local stress-limiting systems of the body, namely, contributed to the normalization of bioelectrical activity of the heart, prevented CNS dysfunction and stress-sensitive immune system, reduced peroxidation products in animals. With long-term administration in a wide range of doses, the combination did not show toxic effects on animals. The results of experimental studies indicate pharmacological (cardiotropic, neurotropic, antistress) activity and safety of the combination of molsidomine with ATP. The obtained data substantiate the practical application of the tool in geriatrics for the complex treatment of pathology of the cardiovascular and central nervous systems, as well as for post-stress rehabilitation of people who have suffered from chronic stress.
