The aim of the work is a comprehensive theoretical and legal analysis of the patterns of influence of legal values on the formation of legal culture as an element of national security of Ukraine. To achieve this goal, the legal nature and essence of legal values, their relationship with other social values and related legal concepts are analyzed, criteria for classification of legal values are developed, their significance for state and legal development is studied. The scientific novelty of the results is that synthesized approaches to understanding legal values, developed their integrative definition, developed a general methodological structure of legal values, created a theoretical model of legal values as the foundation of legal culture, revealed the nature of property as a legal value. "And" value orientations ", analyzed the values of modern private law of Ukraine, taking into account European experience and national legal tradition
