Research object – conventional and renewable energy development under international ecological agreements and security restrictions
Research goal – mathematical models and software application development for energy projections which consists renewables, energy storages, quick start technologies, increase of power grid flexible technologies in heat generation sector, and under international ecological agreements and security restrictions.
Research method – system analysis of large energy systems.
The mathematical models for power system’s generation mix projection were developed. The MILP for optimal unit commitment of power system was developed. The generation mix consists renewables, energy storages, quick start technologies, increase of power grid flexible technologies in heat generation sector, and under international ecological agreements and security restrictions. The mathematical model for coal industry technological pathways formation to cover projected coal demand was developed. The software applications which run appropriate mathematical model were developed, and calculation regarding energy development were made.
