Object of research - activities related to the collection of statistics on fires in Ukraine. The purpose of the work is to improve the national regulatory framework for the collection of fire statistics. Research methods - analytical (analysis of regulations, regulations, international standards), mathematical statistics (mass observation, statistical analysis, statistical compilation and grouping, smoothing of data series by moving average). According to the results of the research, the terminology for collecting statistical data on fires and their consequences, developed by the International Organization for Standardization, which is proposed to be implemented in Ukraine by developing a national standard DSTU ISO / TS 17755-2: 202X (ISO / TS 17755-2: 2020, IDT ) Fire Security. Collection of statistical data. Part 2: Glossary of terms, identified trends in the main indicators of the state of fires and their consequences in Ukraine in 2021, prepared analytical materials. Implementation of R&D results will bring the national regulatory framework for the collection of statistics on fires and their consequences in line with international requirements.
