The purpose of the study is to obtain new mathematical models, formulate and practical use of methods, algorithms and software developed based on the theory of optimal set partitioning (OSP) for solving problems of classification, clustering, partitioning, which arise in predictive estimation in geodynamics and thin-walled structures. Methods of infinite-dimensional mathematical programming, of non-differentiable optimization, methods for solving linear and nonlinear OSP problems, methods for solving operator equations, apparatus and methods of functional analysis were used as research methods. The theoretical results of the study are: new mathematical formulations of both clear and fuzzy continuous OSP problems adapted to the predictive estimation problems in geodynamics and mechanics of thin-walled systems; properties of the obtained mathematical models of classification and partitioning problems; new methods and algorithms for the analysis of the constructed models based on the OSP theory using neuro-fuzzy technologies; software for solving predictive estimation problems in geodynamics and thin-walled structures; techniques and recommendations for practical use. The obtained scientific results are new, they satisfy the requirements related to the development of such a type in the world science and are accompanied with detailed neuro-fuzzy technologies and techniques. The results obtained were tested in real conditions when planning mining operations at “Shakhtostroymontazh” LLC.
