The object of research is the process of ensuring the security of critical information infrastructures (CII) in the process of creation and application. The purpose of this stage is to develop models and methods to improve and ensure the safety of CII. A model of the life cycle profile of the requirements for the software of CII systems is developed. A model of structural-semantic representation and transformation of software profiles is developed. The method of CII software profiling is improved. A method for assessing the criticality of critical infrastructure (CI) and CII is developed. A method of selecting analytical and simulation models for improving the accuracy and parameters of maintenance procedures to ensure the safety of CII components is improved. Options for implementing a CII monitoring system based on unmanned aerial vehicles are substantiated. A method of comparative analysis of CI accidents is improved. A method for verification of the safety of components and multilevel objects of CII is improved.
