The object of research is the antimicrobial activity of compounds based on ketones and aldehydes. The subject of the study was 20 ketone-containing compounds and 15 aldehyde compounds obtained from raspberry shoots of different years and raspberry cake (Rubus sp family), poplar shoots (Populus p family) and willow shoots (Salix sp family). Research materials - museum strains of opportunistic pathogens. Research methods - microbiological, mathematical and statistical. Based on the results of the research, the combination of decamethoxine with levulinic keto acid was developed and the prospect of further in-depth study of combinations of compositions of ketone-containing and aldehyde compounds obtained from alcoholic extracts of plant raw materials with the ultimate goal of developing new antimicrobials based on them.
