An algorithm for studying the peculiarities of the spreading of zoonotic parasitic diseases transmitted by blood-sucking arthropods in the Chernobyl zone of radioactive contamination has been developed. Since research should cover all possible links in the development cycle of agents from biological and mechanical vectors, intermediate, reservoir hosts, whose role is played by blood-sucking arthropods, to definitive hosts (different species of animals, humans), selected the most effective sampling methods from both blood-sucking and arthropods and from mammals that are better suited for use in the Chernobyl zone of radioactive contamination. The main methods of immunological diagnosis of parasitic zoonoses have been developed.
The obtained data on the prevalence of zoonoses in Ukraine, in particular, in Zhytomyr and Kyiv regions, were processed
