The object of research is the training of specialists with higher military strategic and operational education. The purpose of research is to update the content of theoretical and methodological foundations of the system of internal quality assurance of educational activities and the quality of higher education in higher military educational institutions. Research methods. The following methods were used in the process of work: analysis of domestic and foreign philosophical, psychological, pedagogical and methodological literature - to determine the state of the problem; abstraction and concretization to define the concept of internal quality assurance of educational activities and the quality of higher education in higher military educational institutions; synthesis, systematization, comparison, generalization - to study the essence and content of the system of internal quality assurance of educational activities and the quality of higher education in higher military educational institutions. For the realization of the set tasks the methods of theoretical and empirical research were used, which were mutually enriched and ensured the achievement of the goal of research work. The content, structure, scope of preparation, organization and conduct of internal quality assurance of educational activities and quality of higher education at the Ivan Chernyakhovsky National University of Defense of Ukraine are systematized. The tools for managing the quality of educational activities and the quality of higher education in higher military educational institutions are shown.
