It has been proven that meridional visual acuity is a vector indicator, the value and direction of which should be taken into account when measuring the amplitude of accommodation. It is shown that the average values of visual acuity can not reflect the actual state of violations in the mechanisms of visual acuity. It is shown that the estimates treatment of amblyopia in patients with astigmatism should be carried out in homogeneous clusters, which take into account coincidence or discrepancy meridional asymmetry directions from visual acuity refractive. The use of such an algorithm may determine the effectiveness of known pleoptic methods in the treatment of meridional amblyopia, overhead.
