Developed universal computer test for diagnosis of accompany amplitude based on the principle of determining meridional, separable and vernial visual acuity.
Device designed treatment of various types of amblyopia in patients with astigmatism, under fotostimulation of the retinocortic channel by dynamic, reverse, polystructural, chromatic and achromatic patterns of different spatial frequency and orientation; accommodation stimulation based alternating relaxation and tension of ciliary muscle by changing patterns of angular size and distance between image patterns on the screen and eye from a closer distance to far.
It has been proven that meridional visual acuity is a vector indicator, the value and direction of which should be taken into account when measuring the amplitude of accommodation.
It is shown that the average values of visual acuity can not reflect the actual state of violations in the mechanisms of visual acuity.
It is shown that the estimates treatment of amblyopia in patients with astigmatism should be carried out in homogeneous clusters, which take into account coincidence or discrepancy meridional asymmetry directions from visual acuity refractive.
The use of such an algorithm may determine the effectiveness of known pleoptic methods in the treatment of meridional amblyopia, overhead.
