 In the course of the work the political processes in Ukraine's period of independence were analyzed on the basis of modernization theories through the prism of political development crises, which, unlike political crises, are systemic and permanent, including identity crisis, legitimacy crisis, distribution crisis, penetration crisis, crisis crisis. participation, institutional crisis, foreign policy crisis. Based on the analysis, the causes and content of crises of political development are clarified and possible ways of leveling and overcoming them are formulated.
