Object of research: organizational and financial aspects of mechanisms of economic regulation and planning of environmental activities in the city of Kyiv.
Purpose: to study the organizational and methodological principles and regulatory framework of financial and economic mechanisms of environmental regulation in the city of Kiev, the practice of their application; preparation of proposals on ways to improve the methodological foundations of the formation and use of financial resources of the local budget of Kyiv, including Kyiv City Fund for Environmental Protection for measures and actions of environmental orientation.
Research methods or techniques: analysis, synthesis of information and knowledge, generalization, statistical and information-analytical methods.
Novelty: a territorially holistic approach to determining the structure of functional areas of city budget expenditures, primarily from the Kyiv City Fund for Environmental Protection, according to the structure of areas of territorial environmental problems of the city of Kyiv.
Scope: introduction of systematic approaches to planning and financing of environmental expenditures in the process of the Department of Ecology and Natural Resources Protection of the Department of Landscaping and Environmental Protection of the executive body of Kyiv City Council (Kyiv City State Administration) will increase efficiency, effectiveness of environmental activities, reduce environmental risks and threats.
