A collection of samples of tumors, biological fluids, genomic DNA and total RNA of epithelial tumors of the prostate and bladder has been created. The analysis of genetic, epigenetic changes and expression in selected clusters of genes is carried out. The possibility of in vivo interactions between intersectins and verproline WIRE, WIP with endocytosis proteins amphiphizines, as well as the influence of verprolines on the association of their protein partners with actin were analyzed. A set of plasmids encoding eEF1A proteins with a specific label has been developed, in which certain lysine residues have been replaced by arginine ones that are not capable of methylation by specific methyltransferases. The effect of expression of various S6K1 isoforms on tumor invasiveness and metastasis and ER activity, both phosphorylation and expression, was investigated in model MCF7 cells with selective expression of known S6K1 isoforms. The cytotoxicity of selected biologically active compounds of MGMT inhibitors in a wide range of concentrations, with different duration of treatments, in combination with the action of alkylating compounds in human cells of tumor and non-tumor origin in vitro was tested.
