Developed control algorithms guarantee asymptotic tracking of referenced torque trajectories with minimization of active power losses in the electromechanical converter, providing adaptive compensation of negative influence of parameters variations or uncertainties. Methods for AC motors control in the field weakening zone at speeds above nominal have been developed. The concept of construction of unified electromechanical systems of electric vehicles with induction and synchronous motors, which contain traction electric drive and combined power supply is substantiated. Algorithms for high-speed control of power DC / DC converters of energy storage devices (batteries, supercapacitors) have been developed. Proposed algorithms provides effective control of energy flows between the traction electric drive and the main source, as well as the energy storage device in propulsion and regenerative modes. Methods and algorithms for interconnected control of traction electric drive and combined power supply have been developed in order to optimize energy exchange processes in traction electromechanical system. The developed algorithms of vector control of traction electric drives and combined power supplies are investigated experimentally and by simulations. The developed vector control structures were integrated into the prototypes of the traction electric drive and a cycle of laboratory tests was performed on the experimental stand with a 180 kW motor, as well as in the conditions of test operation on an electric vehicle.
