Glushkov Institute of Cybernetics of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2  As a result of the project, the following results were obtained: new means of high-performance calculations were developed, including adaptive computer methods and algorithms for solving calculation problems that arise in mathematical modeling of the state of inhomogeneous media and processes that occur in them; new discrete mathematical models of the state of inhomogeneous media and processes that occur in them, in particular models "with memory" for studying the features of migration dynamics of solutes in ground water filtration; a promising architecture of specialized segments of a computing cluster for solving training problems and using artificial neural networks is developed; the proposed methods and computer algorithms for solving a number of test and practical problems are experimentally studied. The developed algorithmic software tools are used in Institutes of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, in particular electric welding named after E. O. Paton, mechanics named after S. P. Tymoshenko, etc. The developed methods and algorithms will form the basis for creating algorithmic and numerical software for solving mathematical modeling problems on the latest high-performance computer systems (analysis of the strength, stability and life cycle of critical structures; modeling of heat and mass transfer processes, etc.). The architecture of specialized segments of the computing cluster will be used to create the next generation of skit supercomputers. The developed elements of artificial intelligence will be used in big data processing, pattern recognition (in particular, in biomedical research), forecasting economic and social processes, in Decision Support Systems, and so on. Models, methods and computer algorithms of high-performance computing will be used in institutions of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, design and engineering institutions, higher education institutions of the Ministry of education and science of Ukraine.
