The purpose of the work is to substantiate approaches to the choice of technological scheme of separate collection of solid waste to ensure compliance with national legislation, prevent negative impact of waste on the environment, ensure resource and energy conservation, taking into account current trends and technologies in waste management.
Research methods - analytical review of statistical data, stock sources (materials, reports, references), analysis of data in scientific publications, analysis of remote sensing materials of the Earth (satellite images) from open sources, creation of digital thematic maps by GIS; expert assessments
Technological schemes of separate collection of solid waste, which should be used in the city of Kharikiv, volumes and composition of solid household waste generated in the city, approaches to the definition of separate collection schemes are studied.
The results of the research will be implemented in the practical activities of municipal enterprises engaged in the collection and disposal of household waste, in the development of programs of measures for the development of solid waste management systems.
