popup.description2
The object of research is the electrochemical synthesis of nickel hydroxide. The aim of the work is to establish new knowledge about heterogeneous chemical processes occurring in the synthesis of hydroxide and oxide materials. Research methods-electrolysis, voltammetry, thermogravimetry, differential scanning calorimetry. Recommendations have been developed on optimal conditions for the synthesis of nickel hydroxide with a high specific capacity for use in chemical current sources and electric energy storage due to the study of physico-chemical transformations in the synthesis of electroactive substances based on nickel compounds and the determination of conditions for obtaining nanoscale hydroxide particles and factors preventing their aggregation. The significance of the influence of interoperative drying of the material on these processes is shown. A method of continuous electrochemical extraction of nickel hydroxide in a slit electrolyzer has been developed due to the study of the process of recycling of the electrolyte. A method of two-stage high-temperature synthesis of hydroxide and nickel oxide for use in supercapacitors has been developed, which includes a preparatory stage - the manufacture of synthesis precursors and two main stages, such as synthesis and hot or cold hydrolysis. A method of manufacturing electrodes without the use of an external binder due to the remnants of the templates has been developed, which includes two preparatory stages: activation of the foam nickel and homogeneous template synthesis, and the main one is the manufacture of the electrode. Scope: C 20.59 Manufacture of chemical products, n. at. and. at.; M 72.19 Research and experimental development in the field of other natural and technical sciences.
