The object of the study is to plan the operation of the sugar plant (Chortkiv division) of Radekhiv Sugar LLC. The subject of the research is a set of theoretical and methodological principles and practical aspects of strategic environmental assessment of planning the activities of the sugar plant (Chortkiv division) of the company "Radekhiv Sugar". The research is devoted to the preparation of a report on the strategic environmental assessment of the "Detailed plan of the territory for the arrangement of external gas supply of gas-consuming equipment of the sugar plant (Chortkiv division) of Radekhiv Sugar LLC". Content of research: the procedure for determining, describing and assessing the consequences of the implementation of state planning documents for the environment, including public health, justified alternatives and developing measures to prevent, reduce and compensate for possible negative consequences. The SEA working group analyzed the compliance of the objectives of the Detailed Territorial Plan with the strategic objectives of the State Environmental Policy of Ukraine. A systematic analysis of the current state of the potential impact of the sugar plant on the state of the environment in the region has been performed. The research was conducted on the basis of comparison, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction using economic-statistical, balance and economic-mathematical methods.
