The project objectives: to create a database of medical images of breast cancer microphotographs (BCPh DB) with defined characteristic areas and structured descriptions of relevant diagnostic parameters and to develop a web application and web service for its data collecting, editing, multicriteria search, etc. The project main results are the next. 1) 3 versions of the BCPh DB have been developed based on different DBMS: MySQL, ElasticSearch (a popular noSQL DBMS) and MicroPoshuk (original DBMS developed in the GIC of NASU, also noSQL). Their experimental study on productivity and scaling was conducted. 2) A web service (that is also the web application backend) has been developed in Python for data collecting, editing, multicriteria search, etc. 3) A web application (frontend) has been developed in JavaScript and HTML (on REACT platform) for data collecting, editing, multicriteria search, etc. 4) A neural network model CS-SDM has been proposed. It integrates the methods of Compressive Sensing (CS) in Sparse Distributed Memory (SDM) to increase the storage capacity for semantic data representations. The model is implemented as an open source program in CUDA GPU and Python. The conducted experimental study confirmed the expected CS-SDM superiority over the SDM designs of Kenerva and Jaekel.
