The object of research is the cultural heritage of Odessa region, namely the archeological mounds located in the Odessa region.
In the course of the research work, a descriptive research method and a navigation and geodetic device "GPS Garmin" were used to record the coordinates of archaeological sites.
The purpose of the study is to compile scientific descriptions of archaeological sites that formed the basis for the development of security documentation - registration cards.
According to the results of research work, a number of new information about 18 archeological objects were obtained (their detailed description and photo-fixation were made, their location was specified). All this information is entered in the form approved by the order of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine from 11.03.2013. № 158.
The novelty of these studies is up-to-date information on the state of preservation of 18 archeological sites.
The introduction of the developed registration cards of 18 archeological sites will allow to carry out more effective measures for their protection and further preservation.
The obtained results will be the basis for the development of passports for these objects and land management documentation for entering information about them in the State Land Cadastre.
The use of the developed registration cards will allow the regional body for the protection of cultural heritage to carry out its activities in the field of state management of natural resources and protection of cultural heritage more effectively.
