Particular attention was paid to plastic closure of the skull base in cases of severe craniobasal injuries. The improved technique of plasticity of the base of the anterior cranial fossa with the use of an oxide flap and reconstruction of the contour of the orbits with the use of titanium dynamic plate have been developed and implemented; these measures ensured reliable sealing of the cranial cavity and allowed to obtain good results in the treatment of acute cerebral injuries. High efficiency of use of reconstructive methods of closing defects of a skull and a dura mater at the craniocerebral injuries combined with damage of paranasal sinuses is proved.
