Description

 Based on the obtained data, diagnostic algorithms of craniocerebral trauma and craniocerebral injuries were improved, medical tactics, including surgery, were optimized, management of patients with penetrating combat craniocerebral injuries. Particular attention was paid to plastic closure of the skull base in cases of severe craniobasal injuries. The improved technique of plasticity of the base of the anterior cranial fossa with the use of an oxide flap and reconstruction of the contour of the orbits with the use of titanium dynamic plate have been developed and implemented; these measures ensured reliable sealing of the cranial cavity and allowed to obtain good results in the treatment of acute cerebral injuries. High efficiency of use of reconstructive methods of closing defects of a skull and a dura mater at the craniocerebral injuries combined with damage of paranasal sinuses is proved. It has been established that the course of intracranial purulent-septic complications in victims with combat craniocerebral injuries is often complicated by the addition of hospital flora, and they should be considered as related to medical procedures and devices. The scheme of antibacterial therapy of post-traumatic meningoencephalitis depending on the revealed causative agent of the infection is offered. Factors influencing the short-term social, psychological, physical parameters of functioning of patients with traumatic brain injury and craniocerebral injuries were identified, as well as the mechanisms of adaptation of patients in terms of daily functioning and assessment of 'quality of life related to health
