Scientific work during 2017-2021 was focused on determining the efficiency of sowing high-oleic sunflower hybrids, improving the growing agricultural crops technology, the effectiveness of various tillage systems against the background of biologization in short-rotational crop rotations, and improving the growing crops technology in the Ukraine Steppe conditions.
The purpose and tasks of research. To investigate and experimentally establish the main soil cultivation optimal system, to develop an effective technology for high-oleic hybrids growing crops, to determine the effect of agrotechnical measures on the crops yield in the Ukraine Steppe conditions.
The object of research is the process and regularities of changes in the physical, agrochemical and biological properties of the southern chernozem, the formation of the field and vegetable crops productivity.
The subject of research is winter wheat, sunflower and their productivity, short-rotational crop rotations, main tillage systems, fertilizers.
Scientific novelty. For the first time, in the Ukraine Steppe conditions, an agrotechnical evaluation of the winter wheat predecessors was carried out on southern chernozems; features of crop formation and winter wheat grain quality depending on fertilizer and biological preparations; scientific substantiation of crop cultivation technology.
The practical significance of the obtained results lies in the substantiation and development of recommendations for production regarding the implementation of economically and energetically appropriate systems of basic tillage. The obtained results are implemented in the Odesa region farms and are used in the educational process of training applicants for higher education in the specialty 201-Agronomy.
