Description

 In the study of >400 patients, incl. 240 patients – with PC (mean age 55±2.6 yr), various methods of radiological examination in oncology, X-ray diagnostics semiotics were characterised. Various material and method solutions were used in the examination (ultrasound, PET/CT, MSCT, MRT). Complications were reviewed, along with statistical processing. The shape and contours of the pancreas were determined by ultrasound. Spiral CT with sensitivity >80% with bolus administration of the contrast precisely differentiated the oncology. The frequency of false positives – 5-10%. A liver biopsy under real-time monitoring is the most reliable method.
