The continuous development of medicine involves the constant improvement of measures for diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases, taking into account the requirements of evidence-based medicine. We have continued research work devoted to the issue of differential diagnosis of inflammatory infectious and allergic diseases of the upper respiratory tract and ear, oncological lesions of the skin of the external nose, criteria for early diagnosis and detection of recurrence, the degree of prevalence, as well as features of the prevention of blood loss during tonsillectomy. The recruitment of patients after laryngectomy was carried out and the change of protective mechanisms in the nose was studied.
