Information × Registration Number 0222U005239, 0117U003840 , R & D reports Title Investigation and synthesis of organic compounds modified by fluoro-containing substituents using novel commercial fluoroalkanes and fluoroalkenes. popup.stage_title Head Yagupolskii Yurii L., Доктор хімічних наук Registration Date 26-12-2022 Organization Institute of Organic Chemistry NAS of Ukraine popup.description2 A systematic study of the synthetic potential of commercially available industrial fluoroalkenes and fluoroalkynes was carried out and it was shown that they are convenient synthons for introducing fluorine-containing fragments into organic molecules; the catalytic hydrosilylation of commercial fluorine-containing propenes and butenes with the participation of chlorosilanes was investigated and a series of new fluorine-containing silanes containing one or two trifluoromethyl groups was obtained; the reactivity and the possibility of functionalization of the new 1,1,4,4,4-pentafluorobut-1-ene were studied; it is shown that E-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene interacts with alcohols and phenols to form the corresponding vinyl ethers with satisfactory yields, and the products of interaction with polyols are of interest as potential foaming agents; found the conditions under which bis(trifluoromethyl)acetylene undergoes a Diels-Alder reaction with naphthalene derivatives to form benzobarelene derivatives; the conditions of catalytic hydrosilylation of hexafluorobutene with hydrosilanes in mild conditions were developed and a number of new vinyl silanes with high yields were obtained; a convenient and simple method for obtaining aliphatic, aromatic and heterocyclic trifluoromethyl sulfides with high yields was developed; a convenient method of oxidizing the obtained trifluoromethyl sulfides to the corresponding trifluoromethyl sulfoxides without over-oxidation to sulfones was found; the cyclopropanation reaction of trifluoromethylsulfinyl and trifluoromethylsulfonyl ethylenes was studied; convenient preparative methods for the synthesis of 2-chloro-5-trifluoromethoxypyrazine were found and it was demonstrated that the molecule is a convenient synthon for further transformations by replacing the chlorine atom with an amino group, alkyl substituents, aromatic and unsaturated groups, as well as an ethynyl substituent.
