On the basis of the analysis of the development trend of modern technologies of building materials, attention is paid to the increasing complexity of their composition, which provides an opportunity to ensure the specified technological and operational properties of such composite materials. At the same time, components of different nature and properties are used, the influence of which on the final properties of building materials is ambiguous and requires additional research.
At the same time, the nature of the interaction between the components of composite materials is complicated, which in some cases can lead to the appearance of specific, not characteristic for building materials, properties that significantly expand the possibilities of their application during the operation of structures and buildings based on them.
In this study, a thorough analysis of existing composite materials was carried out, their classification by purpose, properties, etc. was given, their main characteristic properties were established, and the fields of application in construction were shown.
The object of research is the processes of interaction between the components of composite materials and the formation of operational and technological properties.
The subject of research is composite building materials for various purposes.
