This study implements the author's vision of the problems of social and political processes, which includes: clarification of its place, role and means in modern political development; coverage of recognized variants of socio-political processes; interpretation of the main socio-political trends of development, as well as comprehensively considered socio-political processes on two scales - world and Ukrainian. The political leadership of Ukraine in its actions should focus on scientifically based forecasts, as they represent one of the guarantees of the expected development of specific events and social and political processes in general. The generalization of the Ukrainian and foreign experience of the transformation of society during the political transit also still remains relevant for our state. The requirement of systematicity, integrity and efficiency both in research and in the organization of management of the socio-political development of the state should become one of the main ones in theory and practice in the 21st century.
