Methodical approaches have been developed to study the physico-chemical interaction of corrosion inhibitors with the surface of metals. Theoretical and experimental substantiation of the optimal content of environmentally safe inhibitor compositions for effective protection of aluminum alloys and carbon steels was carried out. Their effectiveness was established and the mechanisms of protective action were described. Effective synergistic inhibitory compositions based on natural biopolymers for anti-corrosion protection of metals, in particular, carbon steels and aluminum alloys in environments of various aggressiveness, have been obtained. Their advantage is environmental safety, biodegradability and the use of renewable agricultural raw materials for production.
