The strategy of tourism, hotel and restaurant development in the crisis and post-crisis periods was studied and anti-crisis tools of management and marketing in the tourism industry were considered. The informational and business components of post-crisis development are determined, in the context of which the need for specific personnel management in the field of hospitality in crisis conditions is substantiated. Conceptual approaches and practical recommendations for the development of similar tourist destinations in the post-covid period are considered, which are recommended for implementation in the post-covid development period, in particular, the specifics of the development of such types of tourism as glamping tourism, event tourism, rural tourism are determined. The need to find new directions for the development of the hotel industry in the post-crisis period in order to restore the volume of its activity is substantiated. As a result of the conducted research, the study of such modern trends, which have an impact on the determination of strategic directions related to the processes of recovery and further development of the tourism sector, gained further development, five priority directions of the transformation of tourism after the pandemic: mitigation of socio-economic consequences; increasing competitiveness and sustainability; digitization; greening.
