The first Ukrainian study of the epidemiology of acute kidney injury in children was conducted, taking into account the age-related characteristics of the causes of the development of the disease and the determination of prognostically significant factors for the further progression of CKD in the recovery period (cystatin C > 1.1 mg/l, intensification of lipid peroxidation processes and insufficient projective activity of antioxidant systems protection; an increase in the level of TGF-β (>24.7 pg/ml) reaching extremely high values (≥40.5 pg/ml) already in the first 3 months of observation, loss of the direct relationship between the indicators (TNF-α/TGF-β <0.14). a template of differentiated therapeutic support for such patients has been developed.
