S. Pidstryhach of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2  Object of research: composites with stochastic or periodic distribution of thin piezoceramic fillers and dielectric layers that absorb, emit and scatter infrared (IR) radiation. Objective: development of new mathematical models, analytical and numerical methods and software for studying the problems of wave loading of matrix and fibrous elastic composites with stochastic or periodic distribution of thin piezoceramic fillers, as well as problems of complex conductive-radiative heat transfer of absorbing dielectric layers that emit and scatter infrared (IR) radiation both in volume and on the surface. Research methods: methods of singular perturbation theory, Newton-Rafson method, iterative approach based on approximation by finite linear functions. Obtained results: — with the help of the theory of singular perturbations mathematical models of dynamic interaction of thin piezoceramic inclusion with elastic medium under axisymmetric torsion of composite and dynamic loads are constructed; — the inverse problem of determining the volume coefficients of absorption and scattering of IR radiation according to the known empirical data of the surface temperature of the dielectric layer and the flow of thermal energy emanating from it into the external environment is formulated; — the propagation of surface SH waves along the layer was studied using asymptotically accurate models of the interaction of a thin metal layer with a piezoelectric medium. According to the results of the research, 2 articles were submitted for publication and 4 papers were published in the form of conference abstracts. The research results are theoretical and can be used in the following stages to determine the properties of periodically structured composites in order to improve the technology of their synthesis, in creating new and improving existing means of non-destructive ultrasonic control over the integrity of such composite structures.
