 The work examines the main directions that allow the combination of active consumers with traditional and renewable energy sources, as well as energy storage systems into a single virtual power station, which ensures the maintenance of the balance of electrical energy within the local power system. For this purpose, an economic analysis of innovative activity in the energy sector in general and the pos-sibility of motivating consumers to become prosumers was carried out, the load schedules of household consumers were analyzed in detail with the determination of their characteristic parameters and potential sources of their acquisition, a model of a virtual electric station was developed On the basis of previous studies, work was carried out on its refinement and transfer to the Python programming language, and the possibilities of using neural networks for forecasting load schedules were con-sidered.
