A new model of the Mueller-matrix description of fluorescence of optically anisotropic molecular domains of biological layers is proposed based on the superposition of differential polarized and diffuse components of the fluorescence matrix, which characterize the average values and dispersion of fluctuations in the fluorescence intensity. A set of new methods and multifunctional systems of Mueller-matrix fluorescence polarimetry based on coordinate Stokes-polarimetric mapping of microscopic images of fluorescence of biological layers is substantiated. For the first time, original algorithms for obtaining distributions of the magnitude of the elements of the polarization and diffuse components of the fluorescence matrix were developed.
