In the process of carrying out scientific research, a number of fundamental principles regulating the quality assurance of higher pedagogical education were singled out; mechanisms for ensuring the quality of professional training of pedagogical workers in foreign countries were analyzed; the structural and functional model of ensuring the quality of pedagogical education is theoretically substantiated, taking into account foreign experience. The generalization of foreign experience in the development and operation of quality assurance systems for pedagogical education made it possible to highlight its constructive ideas and substantiate recommendations for their creative use in the process of reforming the domestic system of pedagogical education at the national and institutional levels in organizational-pedagogical and substantive-procedural directions.
