In the course of the GDR work, the state of health of the rural population of adjacent regions (Lviv region, Ukraine and Subcarpathian Voivodeship, Poland) was analyzed according to a number of medical and demographic indicators; self-assessment of health and quality of life among residents of Lviv Oblast villages was conducted; the influence of individual, socio-economic and contextual determinants on the health of rural residents was studied; sociological research was carried out, the results of which allowed to develop a conceptual model of the organization of monitoring and assessment of the health status of the rural population at the regional level, which will allow to improve the directions of intersectoral interaction of state institutions and communal structures in the organization of health monitoring rural population.
