Theoretical studies of plasma retention and heating in controlled thermonuclear fusion devices and plasma technologies

Calculations of the synthesis reaction modes in the stellarator reactor, carried out taking into account recycling and anomalous losses, showed their significant impact on the possibility of achieving a self-sustaining synthesis process.
Charged plasma occurs in ultra-high frequency devices, particle accelerators, many physical and technological devices built for plasma treatment of surfaces, for plasma separation of elements and isotopes. For the first time, a complete picture of the behavior of the eigenmodes of a waveguide partially filled with charged plasma is constructed depending on the magnetic field strength and plasma density. It is shown that eigenmodes interact with ions, which leads to the emergence of electron-ion instability. Instabilities can interfere with the operation of devices, but in certain cases they can be used to improve the efficiency of technological installations.
