The object of research is the economic development of Ukraine.
The purpose of the study is the theoretical and methodological foundations of the economic development of Ukraine.
Research methods – economic-statistical analysis, scientific abstraction, unity of historical and logical, complex analysis, modeling, economic-mathematical and graphical, normative and positive analysis.
The theoretical and methodological principles of economic interests and the economic development of the state and its regions are determined. The importance of the city's marketing strategy as a component of local economic development management is substantiated. Digital trends in the development strategy of smart cities have been identified. Statistical modeling of the development of the energy market in the regions of Ukraine was carried out. Modern views on economic development and the process of reproduction of economic relations are studied. The world experience of post-war reconstruction and Ukrainian realities are analyzed.
The results of research are implemented in the educational process in teaching courses "Business Economics", "City Economics", "Economics and organization of investment and innovation activities", "Economics and organization of construction companies", "Economics and organization of municipal enterprises", "Statistics construction enterprises", "Statistics of municipal enterprises", "Finance of enterprises", "Energy saving economics".
