 The method of optical-acoustic control has been developed for assessing the damage of structural elements of aerospace engineering made of layered composites, and the methods and principles of construction of technical means of controlling surface movements of structural elements using optical interferometric devices to determine the degree of damage have been developed. and safe service life of the structure. Dependencies of the displacement field of the coating surface on the dimensions of the hidden defect and the type of acoustic excitation wave were synthesized. Interrelationships between the parameters of the magnetoelastic acoustic emission (MAE) signals and the characteristics of the material of the ferromagnetic product, in particular, the structure, residual stresses, degree of flooding and plastic deformation, are inserted. Recommendations have been developed regarding the use of optimal parameters of MAE signals for diagnosing welds of ferromagnetic materials. Technical means of remagnetization of ferromagnetic products and structural elements have been improved. Correlation components of different orders of cosine and sine components of real vibration signals were revealed. Derived formulas for detecting the hidden periodicity of the first and second orders in the vibration signal. Signs of the presence of local and distributed defects obtained on the basis of the amplitude and phase spectrum of the deterministic component of real vibration signals were established. The parameters of stochastic oscillations were evaluated by coherent and component methods
