 In the course of researching ceramics of various historical periods, regions, sites, in the process of processing archival, literary sources, museum funds, field materials obtained as a result of archaeological, ethnological expeditions, laboratory research, carrying out historical, ethnological, art-historical generalization of the material, with the involvement of interdisciplinary approaches , a number of author's theoretical developments and conceptual schemes of interpretation were tested, which expand the instrumental base of research into pottery itself, its functioning, expression in spiritual and material culture, as well as the problems of worldview and everyday foundations of the ancient population of Ukraine.
